The guy isn’t god. He’s one guy, the mayor of New York. He doesn’t single handedly control the NYPD
I wish he did. It would have been nice seeing bibi get arrested. NYPD is basically its own army at this point.
I mean… doesn’t he? I’m not an expert on US city politics but it was my impression that policing is under the purview of the mayor and his appointed police commissioner, and Mamdani chose to keep a self-proclaimed “proud Zionist” for that job.
