Myles Jack signed to the Steelers' practice squad Monday afternoon, giving the inside linebacker room more depth after injuries to starting inside linebackers Kwon Alexander and Cole Holcomb.
Not that I really care about losing Jack but I find it weird players can un-retire the same year they retire. Couldn’t this cause some contractual loopholes under certain circumstances?
The Eagles could have kept his rights and taken him back on the team, from my understanding. Jack likely reached out to them, said he wanted to join the Steelers, and the Eagles did him a solid to waive him from the retired list. I don’t think the Eagles do that if he said he wanted to join the 49ers or Cowboys.
