My partner mainly uses it for social feeds, browsing and casual photos. She currently owns an 8 Plus which is either no longer supported or most apps have updates not available to the phone. It’s a big spend and a big surprise for her :) so just wondering which phone you’d recommend? And why? There are plenty of articles and Reddit discussions already, but I feel a bit overwhelmed, so if you don’t mind sharing your opinions here, I’d really appreciate it :)

    Echoing picking the 13 for best bang for buck. It’s a great phone and as for the other phones on your list you wouldn’t be missing out on any features.

    If the finances aren’t the biggest factor in your decision, and if your partner is certain that they still want a huge phone in their hands then go with the 14 plus instead. Big phone = better battery, which I’m sure is an issue for them with their 8 plus currently.
