Because they list Bryce Young at 5’10 and he looks barely 5’10 with shoes on, I feel like he might actually be 5’8, he just looks so small.

Of course people look “smaller” when standing behind an NFL offensive line that consists of guys between 6’4" and 6’8"

I am still shocked that everyone was enamored by Bryce. He is tiny, has a mediocre arm, and was throwing to wide open dudes in college.

Its amazing what Alabama can do to ones draft stock and that is why players will continue to go there.

He does have elite intangibles though. He really seems like a good kid. I just cant believe they went with him over Stroud or Richardson who were obvious choice to me over Bryce at the time. Let alone trade what they did to go get him. You simply cant sell the farm to move up and draft a tiny QB with a mediocre arm.

Now that being said, he can still turn it around. Anyone giving up on him after half of his rookie season are fools. I just wasnt that impressed with him overall coming out.

I once ran into Gardner Minshew in Philadelphia and he was a good 2 inches shorter than me despite us both being 6’1, since then I don’t fully trust NFL height listings

Now I’m imaging Bryce young showing up to the combine in funky cowboy boots like a certain governor

I don’t know how accurate the posted heights are. For instance, Brady is posted as 6’4 and Gronk is 6’6 but when you see them together, Brady doesn’t look two inches shorter imo. Some seem accurate though. I’m am 6’5 and when I got Peyton Manning’s (who is listed as 6’5) signature back when he still played, we were the same height.

    If LeBron is “280lbs”, I’m a toddler.

It’s all about staying at round numbers or away from negative numbers. Some guys don’t want to be “300lbs” some don’t want to be “<6feet tall”.

Bryce has about the same odds of being 5’10" as Shaq never having broken 400.
