He did everything he was supposed to do and had us with a 12 point lead with 4 mins left, and the defense went and gave up two tds. Also one of our wrs dropped a game clinching pass after he had fumbled earlier in the game. And he did it all without the thumb in his throwing hand being one 100%. There is nothing a Caleb Williams or Drake Maye could do to elevate this team with all the holes and terrible coaching. Poles will most likely take a QB just to cover his ass and give himself a few more years but it will set us back a few more years and maybe longer if they bust l.
This team still has a lot of holes and I’d rather see them trade down if they get the first pick, get another 1st rounder for '25 and take the best available receiver with their own pick and a defensive stud with the received 1st round pick for '24. Obviously a new coaching staff as well.
