I’m downloading my entire Amazon Drive (photo/video and non-photo/video files) since it is closing down on 12/31/23. I’ve tried several times using the Amazon photo app on PC to download the files (about 700GB) to my brand new WD Elements 2TB external SS HD, but the download continues to stop 1/3 of the way through. About 99 files error out, but that isn’t the issue-it just stops. I need to download all of these files before they’re deleted but can’t select them one by one due to the time it would take-any ideas? I’ve also tried checking the box "download non-video and photo files only) and it is only 139GB and it got stuck at 7200 out of 36000 files.

Should I try downloading on my work Mac? Will I not be able to access from a PC due to file structure? Would it make a difference, or is the issue with the Amazon Photos app not being able to handle all the files, despite having the download all option?

I just want to have all of my files backed up!

Just save multiple copies of them? ACD wasn’t supposed to be used, especially by people that know about this sub, since early 2017 when they closed the API to ACD_CLI and rclone, and then slowly to everything.

Yeah, this wasn’t helpful, at all. I have had Amazon Drive for years, well before 2017, and wasn’t on this sub until a couple of years ago.
