I’m pretty stoked on these bulbs, but was bummed to see that I had ordered the Tasmota flashed versions instead of the WLED.

I ran into some walls trying to flash them, and documented the bits and pieces I found across a half dozen reddit posts to get the conversion process to work.

This should work on any Tasmota flashed light bulb that has atleast 2mb of memory.

Wanted to post this here incase anybody scouring search results needs help converting their Athom Tasmota 7W Color Bulb or Tasmota 15W Color Bulb

    I guess my first question is what’s the motivation? On a single bulb I think I’d rather have tasmota especially since it supports ddp and can be controlled by a remote wled. But I’d be interested to hear if you had other reasons.

    Looks good, I’m actually looking for the opposite since these bulbs won’t work directly in home assistant with the CCT. Have you tried reversing the process?
