Lots of people have gotten themselves underwater by living outside their actual means, whether it’s buying a house they can’t keep up with, continuing to rent the 1BR they just barely make rent on each month (maybe not even), or whatever else. So whenever they see someone ducking the whole problem by intentionally living below their means, they turn into assmad Facebook boomers.

Yeah I’ve been doing my own laundry since I was 12. I just thought that part was odd
