I have a HomeKit system of an AppleTV hub & Thread Border Router some Eve outlets, Nanoleaf Thread light, and one lone Wifi outlet. All was well last night when everything turned off at midnight.

I woke up this morning with everything except the WiFi outlet in the dreaded “updating” state, and non-responsive. Replugging the outlets & light did not help, so get things back under control, I had to restart the AppleTV and the backup hub in my iPad. After that everything is fine.

Anyone have any idea what happened? I tried looking at logs in Controller but that data seems pretty random and completely meaningless–I haven’t found that app/application to be nearly as useful as I expected.

    If you have a zwave or zigbee dongle or any dongle for that matter, unplug it wait 15 seconds and then plug it back in. If that fails after 2 minutes restart the controller.
