So, I threw my sandwich bag into a public bin and threw my phone in with it. Amazing.

The bin had a restricted lid and a little bit of garbage juice in it. Also amazing. My day is going great.

I got it out and there is no external damage but I’m certain a bit of water (garbage juice) got in the charging port.

It’s an iPhone 13. It’s running as normal. Once I’m home and I’ve placed it in molten lava for disinfecting how should I get the water from the charging port?

Napkin and a toothpick? Rice? Hair dryer?

Sorry for the basic post, please help me! Located in Australia if it matters.

Thanks!

I dropped an old iPhone of mine in the sink once; it didn’t get submerged, but it got wet (and got some toothpaste on it). I just wiped it off with a wipe and set it in front of a little fan with the lightning port facing the fan. I didn’t touch it for probably 3 hours.
