The idea that a quarterback can ever go through nearly four years of various struggles and then recapture previously elite form is dubious, at best.

    Never give a history making contract to someone who voluntarily sits out from the game. I know it’s an injury and you can’t predict that, but someone who does voluntarily sit out doesn’t have it in them.
