    To be fair, we got three conservative Supreme Court justices who said roe v wade was law and they would support it at their confirmations only to backtrack and knock it down the second they had a chance. Not saying she’s good or even on the right side but saying something is law doesn’t mean you support it staying the law. Interesting times ahead for Ohio

        “I do not support boys playing in girls sports. This is already settled law in Ohio, and as governor I will enforce and uphold the law,” Dr. Acton said.

        It’s entirely unnecessary to refer to trans women and girls as boys. It’s shitty and intentional.

        Absolutely not, the misgendering is terrible but I could see her doing that to try and win some of the centrists over even at the cost of alienating the liberal support because the other option is trash (main democrat policy in a nutshell). I just hold a little hope that it’s a bad facade to get past the election.

      “They could actually believe something completely different from their stated beliefs” isn’t being fair. It’s always possible she’s secretly good, but there’s no real reason to extend that belief.
