I think the Framework display has 200 dpi right? Are there any affordable external monitors with this dpi? So I can run both at the same scaling factor

    Thanks for bringing this up. I have a 1080p portable monitor (and it was expensive because it’s a Sidetrak Swivel that attaches to the back of the laptop).

    I was just looking at some reddit posts about scaling for multiple screens, and it sounds pretty shaky in Linux, and more so in KDE. I definitely don’t want to go back to gnome in Linux haha, but apparently I might need to give wayland a try.

      It works fine in Wayland KDE for me but sometimes stuff font rendering is bad on one of the screens when you move a window across. No problem at all in Qt (KDE) apps which look perfect at all times, but some others including Firefox seem more sensitive.

      By the way, Windows also hasn’t completely solved this problem, even OneNote (part of Microsoft 365) has horrible font rendering when you move it from a 150% scaling screen to a 100% scaling screen.
