I get that question but preparing for both is more difficult than only preparing for 1. I’ll propose that Bagent played better, earlier on. The more film, maybe the better defenses got. So there might be something that wasn’t immediately obvious until more film was analyzed. Or not. To many variables to know for sure.
If I’m the bears, nobody outside of the offense needs to know. So why bother saying anything until you have to.
Curious. Wouldn’t it be in the bears favor to not be clear about the QB decision forcing Detroit to prepare for both quarterbacks?
