Finally switching to apple after years of android. Im coming off from my Samsung S21+, I guess one of the downgrades is probably the 60hz refresh rate but other than that I dont see any. Should I get the 15 plus or go for last year’s pro model?

I use the 15+ for the battery, better connectivity (my office is in a metal box), and readability — my aging eyes need bigger text without messing up the page layout or stuff dropping of the page. My fat fingers also enjoy a little more keyboard room. I rarely use the camera, and I don’t game on my phone.

I just switched from a cheap Redmi 11s to the 15 plus. I have to say that I truly regret it. There are so many limitations with ios, so few customizations are available. It really feels to me like a downgrade. Just one example, you can’t (easily) even change an app’s icon! You have to go through this whole procedure using the shortcuts app. I hadn’t had an iPhone since my 8 Plus and was amazed that they haven’t even changed the way you can arrange icons, it’s still this silly hold until all the icons “jiggle” and then rearrange. Another huge downside has been the esim only, this has caused some major problems for me. The beauty of Android is anything that you don’t like you can change, with ios this just isn’t the case. I never really liked Samsung because of the way they had all their apps/services integrated but I would say look into another brand’s flagship before going to the iPhone.

Yeah I also loved being able to customize with my Android but I think the hardware and software integration of Apple cannot be beat by any android smartphones other than Google, but sadly they aren’t widely available in our country

If you are in for battery it will be worth it for you, you will feel a bit weird at the start but then you will get used to it. I couldn’t agree more that it should have had 90hz display but here we are. I couldn’t find any 14 pro max otherwise I wouldn’t be considering 15 plus.

Upgraded from 13 to 15+ month ago, absolutely love it… no issues… camera is good… screen size… and battery I freaking love it… I’m a regular user and I charge it once per day… I have no regrets buying 15+…

If 14 pro max is the same then that. Otherwise it’s fine, 60Hz is fine.

I got mine a week ago and I love it. The things that swayed me away from the 14 Pro Max was the battery, weight, and 24MP images. If you don’t care about 120hz, I’d say go for it!

If you like the dynamic island then 15 plus would be a good choice.
As for is it worth it… Well it depends on who’s paying for it… If it’s not you then any iphone 15 is worth it :p
