Maybe in the NFC, but I just don’t see how the colts make the playoffs. There’s too many teams ahead of them, 2 of which are in their own division. You’re going to have to be 10-7 to make it in the AFC and I’m not overly confident in them getting to that mark.

not an overreaction. The Raiders being 5-5 after 10 games is pretty shocking. Horrible team.

Were they a very good team? They haven’t really played well all year (aka T-Law/Ridley hasn’t played well all year in fantasy).

This is about playoff seeding and the Lions have by far the easiest schedule left among NFC contenders. Eagles face a brutal stretch of schedule, so it’s actually quite possible the Lions could grab the 1 seed.

I don’t see how us winning the division is an ‘overreaction’ but the colts making the playoffs is ‘reality’. Is the author honestly saying he thinks the Colts have a better chance of making the playoffs than the Texans. Maybe I’m biased but my eye test says differently

Texans should be the most popular pick to win the division right now and if they do, it’s going to be pretty difficult for the Colts to get a wildcard spot.

The author said the Colts will be in the mix to make the playoffs and believes the Jags will win the division. Both things seem decently reasonable at this point.

As for the Texans, he refers to them as “having the look of a playoff team” which sounds better than the Colts “having a shot” at the playoffs. I think it would be more of a coin flip at the moment, but the writing suggest he’d give the Texans the edge between them.

Eagles have nothing to worry about… the Lions have shown major issues vs bird teams

Except those years you didn’t have 3 teams all at or above 6-3 and I’m not sure you had a losing divisional record either.
