I have a small home (2500 sq ft) I just built and starting my automation journey. Is it even worth it for me to go down the Savant route? Or should I get a bunch of lutron switches and homekit / matter compatible devices and call it a day?
Note, this is not a forever home. Just a home we intend to live in for 5-6 years. If Savant adds value, I’d be open to it.
I think it would be more economical to do Homekit/Matter. I would not spend the money on Savant and hope the new home owners like it enough to justify a price increase.
Homekit is way better. I don’t know anyone who uses savant.
