Tonights game pits the 1-7 Panthers against the 2-7 Bears. I for one am incredibly excited because I believe TNF is about watching bad football.
My favorite TNF game of all time was the WK 14 2013 game pitting an awful Texans squad against my own awful Jaguars. Jaguars would go on to win an incredibly ugly and penalty filled (22 of them) 27-20 with Matt Schaub, Case Keenum, Chad Henne, and MJD putting on a show for a national audience that probably went to bad that night with the same feeling as you would have after going minor league hockey game.

On the other hand, next week we’ll see the 6-3 Bengals fight the 7-3 Ravens for first place in the AFC North, with the Bengals winning. They will retain first place when the Steelers and Browns finish that week at 6-3-1.
