Tonights game pits the 1-7 Panthers against the 2-7 Bears. I for one am incredibly excited because I believe TNF is about watching bad football.
My favorite TNF game of all time was the WK 14 2013 game pitting an awful Texans squad against my own awful Jaguars. Jaguars would go on to win an incredibly ugly and penalty filled (22 of them) 27-20 with Matt Schaub, Case Keenum, Chad Henne, and MJD putting on a show for a national audience that probably went to bad that night with the same feeling as you would have after going minor league hockey game.
What are some other wonderfully awful TNF Matchups that we can remember?
I am not sure who to root for in this one. The Raiders losing to the Bear’s should have resulted in JMD being fired out of a cannon immediately at the end of the game, but his corpse was allowed to coach another game. I kinda blame the Bears for that. On the other hand it did in part eventually lead to his dismissal.
