My MSG100HK keeps going offline. I have to power cycle it and it will come online for a few hours then go back off. I searched for solutions and people are just in agreement that it’s an issue and no one knows why. Curious if anyone has figured it out yet. Or is there a better product?

Unfortunately this is the the only way for me to remotely open my garage door as the receiver has gone bad. So I’m kind of desperate for a solve.

Not a solution to the Meross issue, but unless your opener is crazy old you can find universal openers that will work.

Does your wifi ssid share both 2.4 and 5Ghz radios? Most HA devices use the 2.4Ghz radio and having the same ssid that also uses the 5Ghz radio can cause some confusion. I’d try just putting it on a separate SSID to see if that helps.

I had the same issue. My garage walls have a fire retardant layer of foil covered foam board. It screws with the wifi, I think. I finally went with an iSmartgate opener with a USB-to-Ethernet adapter and hard wired it into my network. That was about a year ago and it hasn’t fail even a single time. I realize not everyone is in a situation where you can hard wire an opener, but if you can, it’s worth the effort.

I have that model and haven’t seen this issue. I do have an AP in my garage though so signal to the opener is great.

I used to have the same problem with mine. 99% of the time it’s wireless network related. My UniFi APs wouldn’t play nice with them so I used a separate Ruckus AP for them with no issues. A couple years and UniFi firmware updates later, it works fine on my main APs.
