And this is why the Regressives are working so hard to keep people from voting. When people vote, they lose

Congrats! Maybe when PA is completely surrounded by states where it’s legalized it’ll finally give up being against it. Both abortion and weed

Good luck there. West Virginia may not be the last state but will probably be one of the last ones.

It really sucks because the state could use it so badly. Would help with the opioid epidemic, boost tax dolars, and promote tourism and recreation. But no they have to keep sucking that coal teat to literal death.

Glad I moved away. And into Ohio to help pass both Issue 1 and 2.

Abortion is legal? , yes but now the ® will have you wait 48 hours before submitting to a intravaginal ultrasound session, not covered by state sponsored insurance nor hospitals funded by the state in any shape or form before scheduling the procedure, even if it’s life threatening.

Marijuana legal? Yes but needs to be grown and monitored in the state and by the state at all steps all of this while cash from the sales not being clean to put in state or federal backed up banks.

I mean here in FL we gave back people their right to vote after paying sentences and the legislature put on a fee and an audience to approve them if they want to vote again…

Don’t be surprised of the amount of bullshit the Republican party will pull out of their asses while in power. Even tho the democrats are trash as well the overall consensus is that none of this bullshit happens with a D at charge.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Ohioans that get into the marijuana business, a little tip from a Californian weed farmer. Casinos exist in IN, and out here. Go in lose a few hands of blackjack and cash out. That money is now clean for the banks, and you can easily claim your taxes at the casino.

I understand this can be done and it’s for the most part a victimless crime. Still “Know Your Customer” (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) laws that require casinos to monitor for and report suspicious activity. Trying to circumvent these regulations by declaring income from illegal activities as winnings from gambling would be considered fraudulent and could lead to serious legal consequences, including imprisonment and fines.
Or not, because that’s none of my business and I’m happy you have a way to use your hard earned money.

Good point! Don’t do this with amounts larger than $4,999, or more realistically more than $1,000. If you need to deposit more than that in a bank, they all accept cash. This is to be able to accept smaller credit card/debit card/crypto transactions.

Though, is crypto even around anymore? Like the infrastructure, such as it was, for Bitcoin still exists, but is anyone actually using digital currency at this point?

But I thought voting didn’t matter!!? But it seems voting actually helped people here. Because of voting innocent people will avoid jail and females avoid losing bodily autonomy - the most fundamental right.

Weird thing about Ohio. Despite being a red state, issues that are associated with the Democrats do well in statewide elections. I concede that the recreational marijuana transcends party lines somewhat but reproductive rights lands in the blue. Ten years ago Kasich’s law ending collective bargaining for public employees was overturned in a state election. Anti-gerrymandering laws pass too. If Democrat candidates can’t win state offices but their ideas pass that tells me the party needs to work on their messaging

So many Ws yesterday. Let’s make sure we keep turning out these kinds of numbers in off years and even better numbers in mid-terms and slowly but surely we can help replace some of the old bastards clinging to power.

But remember, democracy doesn’t work and the only way to bring about change is to endlessly post about guillotines on the Internet.
