What are the best system wide adblockers in Android?
I am using private DNS dns.adguard-dns.com .
I use Adguard.
I second this. And if you want the pro features, StackSocial has lifetime plans available for $11. It’s worked well for me.
Definitely prefer this because of cosmetic filtering
Blokada 5 is nice without root.
Seems to be removed from store and Blokada 6 seems not well received?
It was never on the store because google doesn’t want a proper adblocker on the store.
Blokada 6 is some Cloud BS, but you can still download 5 from their website.
Ty 🙏
Blockada for sure. Get it from their website. Version 5
Hey! I’ve recently posted a similar thread, where you can find additional recommendations and comments.
I am using NetGuard, it allows you to block any app from using internet.
For ad blocking, you can enable filtering traffic. You can download host file from within the app or provide your own (or a mix of both).
Been using adguard (purchased). It creates a local VPN and routes all data (except ones you choose not to) through it. I got it for real cheap with 6 licenses. I have it on all my mobile devices and PC. Works well. I haven’t seen an ad in any app, game, or internet for years. Except YouTube. There’s a work-around but it’s not transparent.
