A phone’s push notifications can contain a significant amount of information about you, your communications, and what you do throughout the day. And there are myriad ways that law enforcement can access the content or metadata of push notifications. Let’s fix that.
If you’re on a goofle device, then there’s absolutely no chance it’s local. None whatsoever. Iphones aren’t better BTW, but at least android has degoofed ROMs where the content can actually be private.
This is correct, notifications for Android go through FireBase and on iOS they go through Apple’s notification servers. Even from local on-device apps.
