I know I am but a small % of a % of a % who has stopped using google products almost altogether, I still use YouTube but I use the iOS app Unwatched to watch videos. I do not use gmail, or any of googles suite of office apps. I use pihole to block a lot of ads I use AdGuard to block a few more. I use searXNG sure it scrapes googles search results with a few others but I do not see ads, and I do not see the google doodles. I have not used Microslop propratary stuff since 2014, my ISP started using exchange so I got a domain package hosted with unlimited email addresses and changed my email for everything that had an iCloud hide my address and then everything else got their own email address I know longer use my ISP’s email address. Because I do not have the money to up end everything I have to do it slowly so I still have my iPad, my iPhone, my HomePods, and my appleTV. The only apple service I use is FaceTime. The only thing Amazon that touches my place is the pages hosted on AWS. I wish everyone would start going as far as me, I have a home lab set up with a bunch of pi’s because I did not want to pay intel or amd for a CPU when I got my home lab set up. I am looking into self hosting my domain and email address in the near future
