Edit: I have the new Apple TV 4k and new remote.

I changed the sensitivity of the tracking to the lowest but that’s only for the speed of tracking, not the activation sensitivity of the touch pad. They really need a setting to change the activation sensitivity because it is TOO DAMN SENSITIVE.

If I’m watching YouTube TV, any time I press one of the arrow keys, I’m suddenly rewinding 30 seconds on the scrubber. I don’t get why the touch activation is even on the left and right arrow keys. If you look at it, there’s clearly a distinct circle indicating where the touch pad is. They should limit the touch area to just that inner circle.

    I disabled it within the first 24 hours of using it, tried it a couple of times since and just can’t get on with it. I do wonder if I’m missing out on something, like a once I get it, I will not go back type of thing.
