he’s used a lot as a blocker on passing downs as that’s what’s often needed and he’s really good at it. he’s a solid receiver as well and seems utilized pretty well when not called on to help pass pro. that’s what TE does

He gets utilised. Unrelated but remember when people on this sub were freaking out about how we overpaid him over the offseason? Imagine if poles instead let him walk we’d see “letting homegrown talent go” and “creating unnecessary holes in the roster” as bullet points against him. Not that that would be wrong. But there was a serious contingent of fans who wanted to let him walk and spend a draft pick to get the same production.
