Wtf is there segregated healthcare in the UK?
I’m not familiar with situation in the UK, but in other countries there are NGOs that try to complement the national healthcare services, ranging from financing ambulances to at home care. They are often tied to religious movements.
At a quick glance, Hatzola Northwest seems to provide services for free to everyone in their catchment area, so any segregation is geographic in origin.
Two things:
- It’s not restricted the the UK. Hartzola (the various orthodox Jewish ambulances services) operate all over the world.
- Although they tend to be based in majority Jewish areas, they don’t restrict their service to Jews, as part of their code.
So is the point to cover specific religious taboos?

Hartzola? They’re not Zionists, to my knowledge. They tend to be Jewish orthodox healthcare professionals, most of whom are neutral on Zionism, and some who are even anti-Zionist.
I’d be interested to know who did this, and why, rather than knee-jerk to anti-Jewish violence. I would first assume that the violence is anti-Israel, with no information, given the current political climate.
It’s my understanding that Hatzola aren’t politically active and that some of their members are actually anti-Zionists. If they were targeted by anti-Zionists, then these criminals are ignorant, stupid, or anti-Jewish…I wouldn’t assume the latter.
