A framework laptop isn’t cheap but the reasons are obvious? Let’s go with one of the main reasons - economy of scale. It’s cheaper to make lots of something vs a small amount of the same thing. Framework’s been around for what 3 or so years? Let’s pick Lenovo - been around for decades. Has a vast product catalogue. Sells? Hundreds of thousands of computers a year. If Framework had the same volume you would be paying Lenovo prices. I’m sure you get that though right OP?
