Daniel Jeremiah on Move the Sticks:

"That Bears team is not talented. I mean, they are 10 players away from being 10 players away. I mean they have not a lot going on there. They are not good on offensive line, they aren’t good on the defensive line. DJ Moore is a stud…but that is their guy.

This (team) is not a quarterback away. Obviously they are going to be in a position more than likely with their pick as well as owning the Panthers pick…they are going to have a chance to go in that direction if they want to move on from Justin Fields, but they got MAJOR work to do on this roster."

“I think they have to commit to a QB…they need to trade their other pick to amass a bunch of picks. They need to auction it off because they need a lot of help.”

PAAAIIIIIIINNNNNNN.

Bears r bad. They have a culture/tradition of losing the last few coaches. They cannot come back from a deficit of 12+ points, cannot find an identity on offense, have games where they can’t tackle and cover, do not get better week to week, players don’t grow here, they seem to regress, and the general feel of the team from fans is “guess I’ll waste my time watching the bears lose.”

They have been passed by the lions and the packers will pass them soon. The pack have a coach in place n will draft/sign a qb n leap frog the bears. The bears will start over with a new staff, possibly a new qb, new defensive coordinator and again need 2-3 years to really see the improvement. Was sad to not renew my season tickets in 2021 but watching/rewarding incompetence is just not my thing. Bears in 2029ish
