As the title says, I’m going to buy a new iPhone tomorrow. I am coming from an iPhone 7 (I know, I am overdue for an upgrade) and I’m not sure which device to pick. I am mainly stuck between getting the iPhone 14 Pro or the iPhone 15, and I’d love your input on the matter. The main point I’m stuck on is the refresh rate, but I am really fine with the 60 Hz. I should also note that in my country the 14 Pro is a little more expensive than the 15. So, should I get the brand new 15 or spend the extra money (about $150) on the 14 pro for the extra features?

the 15 is just basically a 14 pro minus the pro features really. Display and camera are really the only things you’re missing out on.

I just jumped from an SE 2020 to a 15 Pro. Anything will feel like an upgrade. This big of a jump is disorienting, but great.

It depends on your budget. If the 14 pro goes above it i would go for the 15. But otherwise the 14 pro is just waaay better with the cameras and display

Agree, the 14 pro/pro max is better than the regular 15. Better panel with pro motion and better camera hardware. If you look for a deal you should be able to pick one up for the same or less than the equivalent size 15 and I’d recommend trying.

honestly, from a 7, they’re both going to be great. the 14 pro is a technically better phone than the 15 base. just go with whatever seems more appealing.

That’s a huge upgrade and exciting too! I got the 15 pro max I love the camera quality. I recommend the 15. I usually get anything pro max. Just like the bigger size.

Is the 13 Pro an option for you? You still get a high refresh rate screen and should be even cheaper.

I would take the 14 Pro over the 15 regular. There won’t be much difference in cameras that you would notice day to day, aside from the zoom, and they have the same processor, but you probably will notice things like the greater refresh rate.

I upgraded from Iphone 7 as well to the Iphone 15 Pro Max just several days ago. It’s like teleporting into another universe lmao. I can’t believe I used such a small phone for so many years. The battery life on my Iphone 7 is absolutely horrendous and the battery life on my new phone has been an absolute blessing. I love my new phone but I think you should get the Iphone 14 pro for the pro features

15 pro - had a base model 14 plus and I got the 15 pro 3 weeks ago and it’s by far the best choice I’ve ever had

The screen in incredible, literally no problems at all in bright sunlight seeing it , the camera is incredible, usb c 3 (which the 15 and 14 pro doesn’t have) the customizable action buttons, the titanium are all worth the extra $100-$200 (depending on storage size), especially if you are going for the 15 - it’s worth it

I’ll never go back to a base model

The 14’s cameras arent the greatest, the sharper , harsher square edges don’t feel no where near as amazing as the 15’s (best feeling phone I’ve ever held) those contoured rounded edges really make the difference!!

If you are leaning towards 15 , go 15 pro
