My dad recently gifted me an iPad Pro and it has easily become the device that I use the most. I mark up a ton of PDFs, take notes on it, and do digital art. I use an Android phone and a Windows PC but haven’t ran into any major problems so far except for file sharing being an inconvenience. My dad also asked if I’d like to switch ecosystems and I initially declined. Was told that it would make switching between tasks on my devices significantly easier. Would it be worth it to switch to an iPhone when I’m due for my next upgrade? I don’t want to give up a dedicated file manager and sideloading but was wondering if the trade off in increased productivity would make up for it. Would there even be a major difference?

I’m all in at home after initially thinking I’d never be an Apple guy. Once I hit a certain age, I figured out how important time was to me, and Apple products give me back that time. Everything works out of the box, they all communicate with each other with very little, if any, setup required, and they last a long time. The switch helped my productivity, but if you’re someone that has a difficult time with change, it would be something to consider before making the leap.

Even if you don’t buy a MacBook, it’s worth it to switch to an iPhone because of the integration between iPad and iPhone with apps and everything else mentioned above…
