I bought the new iPhone 15 base model 5 days ago. I finished setting it up and updated it to the latest version iOS 17.1. Since then, I’ve observed a drop in refresh rate while dragging the right corner to open the control center and also while exiting apps that show in the dynamic island. When I observed this kind of behaviour, I dragged once again and this time there was no lag at all. Refresh rate usually drops when I unlock my phone and open the control center. Subsequent accesses are smooth, but only for a few minutes. When I scroll again, a slight lag can be noticed.

I don’t understand this behaviour. I’ve traded my 12 mini and it has no above-mentioned issues and used to run smoothly. Is it just a software thing? Should I wait for the next stable update?
