    I typically only pay $5 to $8 for a used 2TB SAS drive depending on the specs I mostly buy bulk used SAS drive so for under $5 each. Since it is a SATA drive it might be worth a bit more since you don’t need a SAS card to use it.

    Hard drive manufacturers should take note of the botched job they’ve done with the SMRs if people feel the need to say a Green from 2009 is CMR (never mind that all greens were long gone by the time WD actually matched Seagate and started submarining SMRs too).
