I keep hearing this. First i thought this is just Propoganda. But now i see it in really serious podcasts. Like Glenn Diesen among others Are we all screwed without USA? Are we screwed bcoz of our population collapse? Are we screwed bcoz of this new Iran & Ukrane war? And the unavailability of the Russian cheap oil & gas? And now being able to pay more than 5% for our defence? And unability to compete with Chinese & US tech sector

Like are all these just for propoganda or should i consider some other way to think about this situation? Like French Aircraft carrier going to gulf is regarded as a joke. Like irrelevant. What is happening? Or am i just listening to wrong sources of information?

Just give me your opinion. Whatever it is

    I think (I’m not from the EU, but very near) that the EU hasn’t matured yet. It never had a chance or reason and therefore a know-how or will to make important decisions.

    The EU lets anyone to shit on their head. Putin, Trump, even Orban. This is not how they should behave. They should learn how to react to the dangers.

      I think the foundation might be stupid. Bcoz you need everyone to agree. And the EU Why not they become like more independent but still together. Like the BRICS nation

      But i get ur point. Maybe EU need to be matured. And the best way to get matured is a crisis. So you have 1 threat to unite everyone Also only Trump is stitting on their head (accoding to me) bcoz US is as big as the whole of EU combined and Putin is 15 times the power of EU when it comes to millitary

    My opinion: the word ‘because’ uses only 3 more characters than the word ‘bcoz’, yet makes your text more readable and understandable.

    Regarding the topic at hand: We’ve been in decline for centuries, so we’re used to it. US, on the other hand, will probably get its’ first taste of decline if they don’t promptly remove the kleptocrats from power.
