This team does not show up ready to play and quits early. No way you can bring back Eberflus. The worst part is Cover 2 is the kind of “bend don’t break” defense that doesn’t require top talent to be successful. Yet the Bears have invested tremendously into the defense and it is sooo bad.
If Eberflus goes, might as well fire Poles and give the new regime a clean slate. The problem becomes, who would want to take over this shitshow and even then would ownership know a good coach if one was right in front of their face.
