I have an SE and I like it. But I would love some more features and more importantly multi day battery life. I was considering an ultra or ultra 2 but someone here pointed out might be worth waiting till next year as the watch turns 10 years old and there could be a really big improvement/Ultra 3. Naturally this makes my indecisiveness go to overdrive.

    Next year you’ll want to wait for Ultra 4. Stop waiting. Get an Ultra, if that’s what you want.

    Next year you will wonder should you wait for 11 or U4.

    The whole marketing and “news” website industry constantly hyping up the next generation is ridiculous. It’s now gotten to the point where they hype 2 generations down. When iPhone 15 came out websites started pushing “but should you wait for iPhone 17”.

    Just buy it. If you see value in it now, buy it.

      This! It’s a natural feeling. I just got a MBP16 M2 Max in August. Tomorrow Apple will probably launch MBP16 M3 rendering mine old. Will it be more powerful? Sure. Will it have more features? Maybe. Will it be cooler? Sure. Will I need it, really? Nope! MBP16 M2 is a beast! Same with AWU. Get AWU1 for less money. It rocks! It’s on my weist now.

    Nobody can answer the question except you. How much do you want a new watch right now? Is it worth the hassle/expense of trading in/selling next year if you do get a new one? How confident are you that the rumours about the X being revolutionary are true? How confident are you that the rumours about it not coming out until 2025 aren’t true?

    Those are the things to consider, but nobody can answer the questions except you.

    They very likely won’t update internals next year, possible size shrinkage of some sort, possibly different colour option.

    Get an ultra asap!!! I got my ultra 2. 2 weeks ago coming from an S7. Only thing I thought was what took me so longggg. And there won’t be a an Ultra 3 next year. So definitely go for the U2
