I’ve always had these “weird” feeling heartbeats that would often take my breathe away. I’ve been to doctors and cardiologists and they never happen (of course) when they do tests like EKGs and doctors always say I’m perfectly fine (even did a echocardiogram).

I finally was feeling them and I think I was able to capture it on my Apple Watch.

Is this what a PVC looks like? Again feel they uncomfortable and makes me short of breath when it happens.

I will definitely be showing it to my doctor as well.

    Was feeling some of the symptoms you described as well a few months ago, and tried catching it with my Apple Watch but did not manage to do it.

    After I went to get a check up, they put a 24 hour Holter, as well as a blood pressure monitor. Turns out I have Supra-ventricular extrasystoles(SVES), also known as Premature atrial contraction (PAC). And, probably due to my weight, lifestyle and eating habits, I was diagnosed high blood pressure as well.

    The Holter results were around 700 PACs over the 24 period. Which according to my doctor, is nothing to stress over. I was recommended losing some weight, being more active and doing cardio exercises as much as I can, and watching my salt intake as my blood pressure was also not normal. And I did change my lifestyle to some level(not entirely), but I definitely feel much better now. And I feel that coffee was a big trigger for me as it raises blood pressure additionally. See, before getting the thingy checked out, I thought that something was VERY wrong and that if I put strain on my heart by running or doing any hard cardio related stuff really, it would put me at risk. Plus, the heart contractions were causing me stress, which then caused more contractions and higher pressure, and it was a vicious cycle until I got it checked out. Now, with some small lifestyle changes, I barely notice any extra contractions occasionally, but I know it’s nothing to be stressed out about.

    So don’t stress over it, go to the doctors(if it’s an option), and see what habits you can change to avoid triggering these extra contractions. I wish you well!
