Thanks for making the /r/chibears gamethreads so great!
Can we decide who wins by number of members to each of are respective subreddits? That’s fair right?
I wish we didn’t have to wait alllll dayyyyyyyyyyyyy for the game! Go Bears though
I’m here at So-Fi. Nice pop when the Bears offense and defense came out. Bagent is warming up and his passes to the left are considerably off-target compared to the right sideline.
Who’s getting the first TD tonight?
lots of haters about to get T-Bagged
It’s really nice when both of my teams play each other while neither being close to .500.
I like how at the beginning of the year, we were certain we’d go 0-17, but now 5-12 looks likely!
Chargers have the worst ranked pass defense in the league, if Bagent has the ability to throw it more than 10 yards down the field, tomorrow is a great opportunity to show it. If he doesn’t do that, I don’t think there’s any reasonable question as to which QB gives us a better chance to win
Whatever happens with bagent going forward, I stand by saying he had some of the smoothest handoffs I have seen. Sounds weird I’m sure, but it was so fluid.
Bosa and Mack just might eiffel tower Bagent on National Television
People said this about bagent last game with Crosby . Some people here are just used to fields holding the ball and getting sacks constantly
I’m expecting another game of hand offs and quick screens.
Bagent gets the ball out on time.
I saw some Chargers fans saying that Bosa sucks now.
This is the 2nd top-tier QB we’ve faced this year, but I think the game is ultimately going to come down to turnovers.
Our run game seems to be back to where it was last year and it’ll probably be even better with Roschon in the lineup. I think if Bagent can avoid turning the ball over and our defense doesn’t give up big plays, we can pound the crap out of them like we did last week vs LV.
Herbert is struggling lately along with their O-line, and I think JJ continues to be impactful vs Allen, so I think this could be the week were we finally have good QB pressure.
All of these factors along with the fact that we get to play a semi-home game in LA, I think the Bears pull out a win if we win the turnover battle.
Bears - 31, LAC - 24
If Hebert still has that cast on his non throwing hand, he will turn it over eventually. He just can’t hold the ball securely with that cast on.
Do you have faith the line will stop Mack?
They stopped Crosby, who at the moment is one of the top 3-down rushers in the league. I wouldn’t be surprised but I also wouldn’t be surprised if Mack has himself a game.
I think Bosa is the real issue. Younger, faster, and they can attack both sides which will give the tackles trouble consistently. Only having one star D-Lineman is much easier to scheme against with blocking assignments.
What excuse will Fields fans come up with when Bagent wins this one?
Fields was injured so bagent did the job of a backup. Sorry but unless there’s a probowl quarterback in Bagent what are we talking about here.
That’s just it – there isn’t a pro bowl QB in Bagent – and yet he appears to be clearly better than Fields.
You can’t make that out of one game.
The Chargers have by far the worst passing defense in the league, giving up 310 yards per game (31st is 274). Bagent has a chance to put up some huge numbers in front of the whole country.
I bet he throws for like 190, and the Chargers lose on a missed field goal.
This game feels like a real turning point in our season. Im ready for total disappointment
What do the bears trade away if they acquire Chase Young?
