I’ll spread the term.It was pretty big a few years back when Google Glasses were a thing.
It’s honestly kind of strange how it virtually disappeared from use since that product was a complete fucking bomb. And yet here we are like 5 (??) years later with Meta doing the timewarp again!

Great idea! Let’s all go fucking around with bluetooth always active and make ourselves a target for anyone with some knowledge!
We should start walking with our phones in a faraday bag/cage and some sort of emp generator to fry these glassholes’ gadgets.
The local EMP is easy to make. (But it absolutely will indiscriminately brick stuff nearby that isn’t shielded, not just your intended target’s glasses, and while making/having it is probably a gray area, using it to destroy property is not.)
Like it wasn’t enough that people walk around with phones. Now there’s also these things that require punching to turn on the privacy mode.
The only use I see for these is protestors/watchers. And even then it only works if it’s not entangled with meta or google.
