For context this was the first iPhone I have ever bought, it worked seamless : smooth, fast, no overheating and lag free.
Ever since I updated to iOS 17 I have been noticing weird lags, everything kinda feels like it has some sort of delay: typing, opening apps, locking the screen etc. Plus I have been noticing that my phone is getting hotter more usual than before when using apps such as Google Maps navigation or Spotify with my car connected to Bluetooth.
I joined the Apple camp expecting that everything “just works”, sadly it feels like an Android experience all over again, only with a greater price markup.
Restart your phone and see if that helps. Base 14 as well, been running the 17 beta and official release with no issue. I’m on 17.1 and the only bug I’ve encountered is my status bar icons disappearing for a bit once, otherwise it’s buttery smooth.
