    Christ. The regions have been crap for years, pathways are totally screwed. Wales has to drop a pro side, or maybe 2! What will a change in CEO do to change this?

      Right? I’m sure the WRU could keep them going, but what’s the point if the talent pool is generally not competitive enough for the international side? And I say that regardless of which region(s) get folded.

      The WRU is likely to be heading into deep water if it’s fighting costly legal battles whilst also feeling the pinch from diminishing ticket sales and sponsorship deals.

      What a mess! But this is probably the process we need to work through to get to a better place… eventually.
