anyone else have this issue? browser crashed twice just now trying to post and use the site, nothing else is running on my OS that would have caused the crash. monitoring htop suggests its only this tab, Im on Firefox 147.0.4. browser is also slow when I go to sort comments by top, it will freeze my OS before loading. just curious if this is a known issue or not
I exclusively browse db0 on Firefox with both my phone and desktop and haven’t seen a crash for like two years. That’s just you I think.
Sightly older version of Firefox here (140.x) on Debian Linux, no issues.
Maybe you have a browser extension that isn’t playing nice? Try disabling extensions / maybe a private window & see how it goes.
Or if you’re on Windows maybe you have anti-virus/malware software causing weirdness.
EDIT: Could be worth running memtest86+ or similar to rule out any RAM issues, wondering if you’re just seeing crashing whenever you use software that starts to use more memory.

What OS? Have you tried your phone or another browser?
Edit: Tested in waterfox on android without any issues.
