Cops shouldn’t have military training. They aren’t military.
Military training and rules of engagement would be far superior to the way police act.
They enforce the law, ergo they’re law enforcement and thus cops.
They don’t enforce the law, they actively and famously ignore the law… Maybe at some point they could have been considered ‘cops’. Now they are militants.
At least people who joined the police might be doing it for the right reasons (protect the vulnerable, lock up proper villains) even if the system is broken AF.
