I think everyone is on their own personal journey when it comes to religion or what they believe. Even if someone was raised in a church, at some point they made the call to stay and keep believing. That’s their path. It’s the same as how people choose their friends or what they spend their time looking into.

But being disrespectful to someone just because of those beliefs? That’s a huge red line for me. I actually like debating whether something is true, I do it with my religious and political friends sometime. But you can challenge an idea without attacking the person.

The world would be boring as hell if we all agreed on everything. I’m totally fine with people’s paths as long as they stay respectful. Discussing our differences is a good thing, as long as we aren’t being jerks about it.
