Why would I challenge the lifeguard when I can just run away and they won’t ever catch me? I’m not a lifeguard, I’m not bound by their rules (no running in the pool area)

edit: Ah heck, I was like, “that’s a weird pool” but it’s actually the beach and my comment doesn’t make any sense. Whoopsie x3 But they would probably crush me at volleyball because I haven’t tried to play that game in over ten years.
