Playable? Yes, I read some people already like it, it has some interesting mechanics for sure.

Finished and as good as a predecessor? Not yet, the last era wasn’t even released yet, the game feels very unfinished. Basically the game will be released in parts as a lot of dlcs.

This Apple port was developed by a different studio, mainline civ development is not affected by this.
