5 years later - pc gamers still playing it while console services are shut down
Console gamers seeing PC gamers with tbeir 90% sales and freedom of software and no subscription to play online and ease of hardware upgrade and ability to customize input and etc.
I don’t care about mods or FPS in the hundreds. I care that the games are discounted to a reasonable price, include all the content, and fully patched/ optimized.
GOG/Steam sales is what you are looking for, or getting some good “personal backups” of games to run in an emulator. You can upscale and enhance them better than they ever were on original hardware.

Don’t give them ideas
The vast majority of games I play were never released on console, so there’s that too.
Console players swing overwhelmingly toward the younger side. I don’t think kids without any semblance of understanding of what they’re missing out on feel like they’re missing out.
Honestly I think this is just a good summary of console players. I’m not young, but I play console, and don’t think about PC… ever. I’m happy PC players found their niche, I’m happy with mine, let’s talk about the games we love!
Most games release on PC first with PC first updates.
