The Democrats have never been very good at messaging their accomplishments.
They just aren’t good at messaging, period. It’s hard to believe how incompetent they are.
Biden’s messaging on the economy was a total disaster. Trying to gaslight people into thinking the economy was great when their lived experience proved otherwise was never going to work. It made people distrust anything the Dems said and set Kamala up for failure as well.
It’s especially stupid when the Dems never bothered to invest in their own media empire like the GOP did.
It doesn’t matter whether inflation was biden’s fault or not, politics is mostly about people’s feelings.
Media presence is going to be something I’ll consider when picking a candidate.
This is one of the reasons Kamala would have been great. Trump has demonstrated that even when the news hates you, being in the news is better than not being in the news. Can you imagine the attention Kamala would have gotten just for being a black woman? The right would have done her work for her.
He didn’t lose the messaging war, he lost democracy to Trump.
By not treating the situation like the emergency that it was.
Biden never lost to Trump.
Maybe not fair and square but he did lose big.

Idk, trump didn’t get convicted of any of his federal crimes that were slam dunk convictions. Seems like a Biden lose there
