While, ideally it would be justification enough for men to be feminist for the liberation of women from patriarchy, I think it’s important in messaging to point out that patriarchy also hurts men. The opportunity to grow the movement is huge if only we “expect better from men”.
There’s toxic masculinity and positive masculinity and few spaces in between to create one’s own definition.
