[two characters are talking in front a modern city full of skyscrapers]
[blue, annoyed] I feel betrayed by the current political system! Let’s get rid of it, I want major changes now!
[green] You naive fool, the only thing we can realistically accomplish is gradual reforms
[blue] Okay then, I’ll vote for you, now please actually do some gradual reforms
[now in a political office, green is sitting behind the desk, dressed in a suit, looking presidential]
[green, smirking smugly while shrugging] Sorry, best I can do is constantly move to the right to please conservatives, the current political system leaves us no other choice
[blue is looking both pissed and defeated, has no words]
That’s not a compromise that’s just pure betrayal
Betrayal is what usually happens whenever you listen to a liberal’s pleas for compromise.
Voting for them as harm reduction isn’t a bad thing, but placing too much trust in them is a bad idea, it’s worth diversifying your means of action instead of putting too much trust into one person/party :)
Came here to write pretty much that: “compromise” is just sheeps clothing for the technocrat whore wolf

I’ve been tricked, I’ve been backstabbed and I’ve been quite possibly, bamboozled.
